More conversations in the car

We played with a friend recently and afterward I asked Trey if he had a fun time. His response was "yes, but "they" hit me." I responded that I am pretty sure he has done his fair share of hitting and that he needs to be worried about his response to people, not the other way around. He then asked me "do "they" hit because they don't love God." The reason I share this is because just when I thought he wasn't getting anything...that nothing was sinking in...he comes out with this. If nothing else it appears that he's starting to understand how to apply a person's life/actions to loving the Lord. Hey, I'll take anything I can get :).
