I can't wait!

Kenny and I are leaving on our first weekend getaway without kids on Friday. Kenny's college roommate is getting married in La Jolla, CA. Although I will miss my babies so much, I know that it will be a great weekend and quality time with my hubby that is MUCH needed (following his three day business trip). It has been so exciting and somewhat surreal to shop for this event. Don't get me wrong, I do plenty of shopping but not for something like this. I found my dress on Friday (black) with shoes to match. Now I am looking for jewelry...I think I'll go with something big and chunky and fun like RED! My mom is graciously accepting the job of taking care of the boys and we are so, so grateful! Thanks mom! Friday we will drive there and will check in to our bed & breakfast that Kenny has arranged for. Saturday will consist (if I get my way :) of a leisurely (imagine that!) breakfast and then running on the boardwalk. After that Kenny will be meeting my brother in law, the groom and some other friends for wiffle ball on the beach and Katie and I will go for pedicures. The wedding is at 5 so we will be there till late I'm sure than maybe even sleep in (!) and drive home Sunday. Oh, I can't wait!!!! Oh, and the best part is I can take pictures of it all! Yeah!
