The dreadful hobo glove

Trey wears this glove all day, every day. You'd think that he would want to wear both - no, just one. It's like his comfort thing or something, like his hippo and blankie he sleeps with. It's gotten to the point where he tries to eat with it and bathe with it. As you can see it's getting worn down. Kenny and Theresa suggested throwing it away but I just can't do that to him. He's really attached to it for some strange reason.

Rest in the fact that he probably won't be taking his drivers license test with it on...meaning he'll be done with it eventually. We have a cute book about this very thing if you want to borrow it. It's called "Owen" and it's about a little boy/rabbit named Owen that has a blankie. His mommy and daddy try all sorts of things to get him to get rid of the blanket, but nothing works. So the mommy cuts it up into little pieces like a hankerchief so he can carry it around in his pocket. It's a cute book! You could just start snipping off little bits of the glove each night and before you know it, it'll be gone! That is what we had to do with Charis' pacifier. Eventually it was so small she didn't want it anymore.
