On his actual birthday, we made his favorite dinner - pasta! Then we had ice cream sandwiches per special request by the birthday boy.
We celebrated with family and close friends at our neighborhood park and did a Lego theme - thanks to pinterest for giving me such creative ideas!!

I forgot how much fun "pin the" games are. Watching kids get spun around, get super dizzy and then try to pin something on a target is HILARIOUS!

No, this is not Katie's pregnancy announcement...her son Jake said "I meant to do that" thinking she was the target :).

Tyson is such a blessing to our family! We are so thankful to God for how He is growing Tyson. We see God working in Tyson and we recognize this as God's grace in his life! We love our sweet, kind, caring, considerate, sensitive boy who would rather put people before himself - we see this especially with the relationship he has with his brother Trey. We love you sweet boy! Happy 5 years!!! xoxo
