The boys' first time boogie boarding - they had a BLAST!
This girly is not camera shy :)
Kenny wanted to fly a kite, too. He picked one up in Huntington Beach and we had a lot of fun with that, too!
My mom was with us for 4 days so that's how we got a family pic :)
Lots of sand castles were built!
The first day at the beach R didn't even want sand on her feet. By the end, she was playing in the sand and the water!
4th of July is very busy in Del Mar. This flag is from a family that was set up next to us. They actually live behind where we stayed and are super sweet people.
Also not camera shy :)
There is a bay-type area behind where we stayed that holds a fair every year during 4th of July week. We were told by the neighbors that this is the spot to watch fireworks. It was a great show!
Practicing with different camera settings...I like the cloudy sky in the background here.
The owner of the place we stayed in offered the boys an opportunity for surf camp. They had SO much fun this day! What a blessing!
She wanted pics of her being a ballerina :)
This is the 'I'm a very serious dancer' face
Tyson blowing kisses to Trey
Brooklyn wasn't signed up for surfing but this surf instructor, Matt, pretty much loved her so he took her out for a few waves after she asked. She had a great time and he was so sweet to do that for her!
priceless face
chasing seagulls
On our way to the Del Mar concert
We ran in to Drew Brees! Apparently he lives in Del Mar during the off season!
Amy a.k.a paparazzi
sigh.....
we left the beach and headed to my cousin's house in Temecula! Here we have (from left) Tyson, Blake, Tayor, Trey, Raegan and Brooklyn
After we left Temecula, we headed to Vista
The kids loved swimming in the hotel pool
While the boys left to get dinner, the girls hung out in the hotel and Brooklyn thought this would be fun...until she missed the bed. Then we were all done with that.
